If you ask his parents they will tell you they knew Matt was destined for comedy genius when he would put on sketches at the dinner table using only the food on his plate. The character work was flawless and in depth. From there the script was written for him. He traveled the competitive eating circuit for a while as the warm up act until he decided to go to college and settled on SUNY New Paltz. He moved back home after college and found Nuts and Bolts. Matt hopes that Nuts and Bolts will be around for many years to come, and they will one day become a household name like Spam. Outside of the troupe, Matt is looking to get involved with more local theatre and music. When he is not in pursuit of his 15 minutes you can find him hiking with his dog or shopping at Weggies looking for the next great edible item that could get him back on the competitive eating circuit as a warm up act.
